The Role

As the Market Manager at Trip.com US, you will be responsible for:

  • Build and progressively expand the portfolio of local hotel partners by introducing prospective high potential partners to Trip.com proposition and facilitating their onboarding process
  • Develop and sustain strong partner relationships by providing relevant data insights and support services to hotel partners (revenue management advice, marketing opportunities on the Trip.com marketplace)
  • Ensure that the partner hotels’ product (content, rates and availability) is consistently optimized and competitive on the Trip.com sites to maximize customer conversion
  • Secure additional inventory over high demand and compression periods to satisfy customers’ pressing needs
  • Secure seasonal deals and dynamic promotions within the guidelines set by Management to support the brands’ merchandising and marketing efforts
  • Represent Trip.com in the local market, build company profile with key local influencers (e.g. tourism bureau, hotel association, etc.) and provide expertise to the local industry
  • Execute effectively based on KPI metrics (targets, goals and/or strategic objectives) set by Trip.com Group Management
  • Other reasonable duties, as assigned


Skills & Experience

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to bring the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in hotel management, tourism management and marketing is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in positions within Hotel Sales, OTA (B2C) background is a plus
  • Ability to develop current distributors by creating and qualifying leads from potential clients in overseas markets
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Positive and enthusiastic team player; have high service consciousness
